Refreshing Mint Lemonade

MAKES 4 CUPS / PREP: 10 MINUTES / TOTAL: 10 MINUTES

All sugary beverages should become a thing of the past after bariatric surgery, but no need to feel obligated to stick to plain water all the time. Try this refreshing twist on lemonade to give some variety to your beverages. It’s made with all-natural plant-based stevia, which provides no calories and no carbohydrates but is sweeter than sugar.

Juice of 2 lemons

2 fresh mint sprigs

½ teaspoon stevia powder

4 cups water

Ice

1 In a small pitcher, use a wooden spoon or muddler to muddle together the lemon juice, mint leaves, and stevia to help bring out the oils in the mint.

2 Fill the pitcher with the water and ice, and serve.
