• Karnofsky: Score runs from 100–0, where 100 is “perfect” health & 0 is death. The 1° purpose of this scoring system is to allow physicians to evaluate a pt’s ability to survive chemotherapy.
• ECOG: Also called the WHO or Zubrod score, runs from 0–5, w/0 denoting perfect health & 5 death.
