Dosage Forms. Suspension for Intramuscular Injection: For adults, available in combination with tetanus and diphtheria toxoids (Tdap); for Children, available in combination with tetanus and diphtheria toxoids (DTaP), and in combination with other pediatric vaccines
Common FDA Label Indication, Dosing, and Titration.
1. Prevention of diphtheria: Children, all infants at age 2, 4, 6 and 12-15 mo, and a fifth dose at age 4-6 y, as primary series of DTaP; Adults, at age 11-12 y, Tdap.

Efficacy Monitoring Parameters. Prevention of diphtheria, although antibody concentrations might be measured; routine measurement for vaccine response is not recommended.
