FETAL RISK SUMMARY
Clidinium is an anticholinergic quaternary ammonium bromide. In a large prospective study, 2323 patients were exposed to this class of drugs during the 1st trimester, 4 of whom took clidinium (1). A possible association was found between the total group and minor malformations.
BREASTFEEDING SUMMARY
No reports describing the use of clidinium during human lactation have been located (see also Atropine).
